New Mexico Orthopaedics Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine Fellowship

Fellowship Faculty

Clayton Conrad, M.D.

Dr. Clayton Conrad is a fellowship–trained sports medicine specialist who has also trained in articular cartilage repair. His primary focus is arthroscopy of the knee, ankle, shoulder, and elbow. Dr. Conrad's undergraduate training and research in mechanical engineering kindled his interest in pursuing a medical career with a strong mechanical and hands-on component. He was eventually attracted to sports medicine through a lifelong love of sports and interest in arthroscopic surgery.

When he is away from the office, Dr. Conrad enjoys many outdoor activities.
